What We Believe
Analysis matters more than description. The question "what happened" is answered a thousand times a day by a thousand outlets. The questions that matter — why did it happen, what mechanisms caused it, what does it connect to, where does it lead — are answered far less often, and far less well.

Our Editorial Standards
Every article published on The Man meets three non-negotiable standards:
- A clear thesis. Not a topic. Not a summary. Every article argues something specific and defends that argument with evidence.
- Concrete evidence. At least one verifiable statistic, case study, historical example, or data point in every piece. Assertion without evidence is opinion. Opinion without labelling is dishonest.
- A forward-looking conclusion. We do not end articles by summarising what was already said. We tell the reader what to watch, what comes next, and what the stakes are going forward.
