What We Are

The Man is a bold, independent analytical publication. We cover Finance, Geopolitics, Technology, and Society — not as isolated beats, but as interconnected systems that shape how the world actually works.

This is not a news aggregator. We do not rewrite press releases. We do not produce content for the sake of volume. Every article published on this site argues a position, supports it with evidence, and respects the reader enough to reach a conclusion.

What We Believe

Analysis matters more than description. The question "what happened" is answered a thousand times a day by a thousand outlets. The questions that matter — why did it happen, what mechanisms caused it, what does it connect to, where does it lead — are answered far less often, and far less well.

That is the space The Man occupies. We write for people who think in systems. People who understand that a central bank decision connects to labour markets, that a trade war connects to semiconductor supply chains, that demographic shifts connect to sovereign debt trajectories.

Our Editorial Standards

Every article published on The Man meets three non-negotiable standards:

  • A clear thesis. Not a topic. Not a summary. Every article argues something specific and defends that argument with evidence.
  • Concrete evidence. At least one verifiable statistic, case study, historical example, or data point in every piece. Assertion without evidence is opinion. Opinion without labelling is dishonest.
  • A forward-looking conclusion. We do not end articles by summarising what was already said. We tell the reader what to watch, what comes next, and what the stakes are going forward.

What We Cover

  • Social — Gender, masculinity, relationships, Indian society, social trends
  • Finance — Global economy, markets, personal finance, India economics
  • Geopolitics — Global power dynamics, trade wars, strategic analysis
  • Technology — AI, cybersecurity, emerging tech, societal impact
  • Society — Culture, demographics, institutional analysis, civilisational trends

Who We Write For

The Man is built for educated, globally minded readers who have limited patience for content that wastes their time. Our readers are professionals, independent thinkers, and lifelong learners who want to understand the mechanisms behind events — not just the events themselves.

We do not write down. We do not over-explain. We treat our readers as intelligent adults who are capable of engaging with complexity.

Independence

The Man is not affiliated with any political party, government, corporation, or interest group. Our editorial positions are our own. We are funded through advertising revenue and direct readership — nothing else.
